Dating an antique Grandfather Clock

I have and old Grandfather clock the we came in possession of in early 1970s from Germany or Czechoslovakia.

It has two weights and chimes on half-hour and hour.

I have been told that many of the antique two weight clocks predate 1900s.

It was purchased from a German gentleman who had found the clock in an old barn.
