Grandfather Clock Chimes Too Quiet

by John
(NY)

Hello I have two Ridgeway Grandfather clocks and they both have pretty quiet westminster chimes but the hour chimes are loud.

How can I make the westminster chimes loader.

One clock is a cable wound clock with a key and the other is chain pull.

I have other grandfather clocks that the chimes and the hour sound are about the same.

Any idea how to make the chimes louder?

Thanks John
