How can I get a sense of value for this particular Sligh grandfather clock.

It is in mint condition, but doesn't keep time.

best Sleigh clock ever

I have also purchased this clock and have nothing but high praise for it. It has always worked perfectly from the date I got it. It is now 30 years later and it still performs perfectly. Sure wish I had an idea what it would be worth today. Maybe someone could help me with this information

Sleigh Clock model 0946 1 an
by: Paul

I purchased my clock in 1988 and I have it serviced every 2 years by a local technician. It keeps perfect time and is as beautiful as the day I bought it.Never touch the brass with anything but white gloves and NEVER try to oil the clock mechanism. This is a precision instrument and must be periodically maintained by someone who knows what they are doing ! My purchase price back then was $3,500. I hope this helps you. Paul

Actually, the reason it hasn't kept time I have learned is because whenever someone walks by the path from the front door to the kitchen or out of the kitchen, it vibrates. Apparently, the clock is not completely stable in that area.
