Inherited Grandfather clock

Hi,
I recently inherited a Grandfather clock from my mom it was transported very carefully to my home and I need assistance on how to get it running.

The clock itself is ticking away(very fast) but I am unsure on how to attach the weights.

GETTING THE CHIMS RIGHT

Well I have all weights attached and it is chiming but at 6 PM it chimms 8 times - does it need to be cleaned?
