 KIENINGER CLOCK MODEL NAME PLEASE

KIENINGER CLOCK MODEL NAME PLEASE

Dear everyone,

I have just purchased a very unusual Longcase Kieninger Clock with a calendar movement and triple chime on 12 rods.

Can anybody give me an idea of the date of the clock please and what specific model it could be. The calendar apertures are most unusual.

The clock is in showroom condition. What would i have to pay to replace a clock like this please with a similar movement.

I won't actually be able to provide serial numbers until Wednesday but was hoping someone could know something regarding this model of Clock.

Thank you very much,
Dominic.

Thanks for your comments. I speak German reasonably well and i feel pretty sure the clock was made at a time when they maybe did not make this particular calendar dial in English.

Montag means Monday and Mai means May in German - this is the obvious. I would suspect that it was made in Germany or made for sale in Germany. Other than that, I can offer nothing other than it looks a mighty fine clock and I hhopr you get great pleasure out of owning it.
