Love the Clock

by Mona
(KY)

I recently aquired the grandfather clock. I really love it.

The person I got it from had removed the chains and weights.

I need to find out how to put it together and get it to work? Can someone help me?

Mona

Hi

if your clock has 3 chains/weights when looking at the front of the clock.
the center and right chains have the weight on the right, the left chain has the weight on the left.
with the two lighter weights on the left & center chains.
Not sure how easy it will be for you to thread the chains back onto the wheels.
the outside pair should be easy as you can drop the chain over the wheels as not much is in the way, the center wheel has a lot more of the mech in the way
