Need some help

I bought a Ridgeway E3 204 and I cannot find any info on it.

Unfortunately, it lacks a pendulum (the entire piece from the spring steel down) and a weight. I have two questions:

1) can check operation of the movement without the pendulum? Weight at a distance?

2) can anyone recommend a source for these parts?
