Reinstalling Howard Miller Clock Company clock

Reinstalling Howard Miller Clock Company clock

My wife purchase this wonderful clock a few weeks ago at an estate sale outside San Diego.

I am finaly getting around to giving it a good look over.

I'm finding that the leveler legs need replacing and that the door latch has been removed, most likly because of a lost key.

The Weights and Pendulum are removed, as well as three of the four glass panels.

The cables and pullies have all been taped in place with duct tape, and then run a piece of tape from the pullies to the bottom of the inside of the clock to hold it all in place.

I am now reading that the cables should have been packed with a foam block inside the movement to make sure that they weren`t dislodged or tangled.

This was not done prior to moving the clock 50 miles up mountain roads to our home in Julian, California.

I am fairly handy and can reinstall the glass and replace the legs.

How do I check to see if the cables are in the right place before I reinstall the weights and pendulum?

Or who can I contact to come and service our wonderful clock?

Here is the information on the clock

leveler legs

Can you tell me where you got the leveler leg replacements? We can't seem to locate them anywhere. Thanks for your help.
