Tube weights
by: Anonymous

I have a grandfather clock made by my father. I have marked the weights even before flooring was installed. I weighed all three on a postage scale. Facing the clock starting on the LEFT: The weight of the first tube including weight was almost 8lbs The second tube MIDDLE: was just a little over 8lbs.The third tube RIGHT: was the heaviest 8lbs 13oz. It was very close on left and middle tubes but as i said i have marked with painters tape and black marker EVERY time clock has been moved. Still ticking since 1984. Hope i helped, Regards Carl
