Tempus Fugit Herschede Wall Clock

by Marlene
(Cleburne, Texas)

I just bought this clock at antique alley. It looks much like a grandfather clock without the bottom.

It has three weights that hang from chains. The weights however were in a box, the chains have been pulled up high enough that there isn't room to hang the weights on them.

How can I get the short end of the chain down lower where I can use it?
