Tempus Fugit Herschede

Hello, I bought a Tempus Fugit Herschede clock and I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

I was wondering if anyone had some info about it.

It's a madrid NO. 613 made in Starkville, MIssippi.

The gold plated display says 1885 on it.

Thanks for the help, any information is appreciated.

Does my tempus fugit grandmother clock need oiling? If so, how do I do it?
My clock was purchased in CA in 71. How much is it worth now?

The movements in the clock is prior to the 1911 or made by other US clock making firms such as Seth Thomas. There is a serial number on the back of the clock movement. It is very difficult to see. Try a flash light. If the serial number is available it is easy.

Madrid style...

Herschede began using a version of their movement that would strike "rods" mounted in a metal block rather than tubes to make the clock more affordable. Perfectly restored your clock would be about $500.00 to $1000.00 retail. Insurance valuation should be set at 1000.00 for replacement as the brand is not well known.
