Colorado Limited Edition

Hi,

We just received a family grandfather clock purchased by my mother-in-law.

It is a beautiful
Limited Edition Original Kieninger -- #301 of 500.
We don't know when it was purchased and don't think it is antique, but our guess is it was purchased in Germany in the early 1980's while she was living there.

It has lots of cut glass, inlayed wood -- very fancy. I'm trying to get more info on it and find out its value, but I know nothing about clocks.

Any suggestions? We may have to get an appraiser but I was hoping to get an approximate value for insurance purposes.
