Please help identify the maker of this movement

We have a 35+ year old grandfather clock made in Taiwan.

We need to replace the movement but don't know what to get.

The various web sites I've looked at show how to identify the maker, model, etc. using the writing and numbers on the back of the movement.

On the back of ours is nothing but a lion, West Germany and the number 306.

Anyone help identify the maker of this movement?
