I built my model #450 in 1987. It has been great but now it runs for an hour or 2 and stops.

I have tried leveling, redoing the weights, oiling, I am at a los what have I missed.

What can be the problem. Please help.

I built a Model 150 in 1976. It ran fine for 20 years and then stopped after an hour or two. I took it to a clock man in town and he showed me how it was worn out. All of the shafts were in holes that had enlarged because of wear and you could even see the gears move sideways with a slight nudge. I had to buy a new movement.
