Colonial by Zeeland grandfather clock Serial No. 7309609

We just bought it at an estate sale with no paperwork or owner's manual.

Is it possible to get an Owner's Manual or, in the alternative, get some info about how to set the time, date, and moon phase?

Instructions on how to set moon wheel
by: Anonymous

I have no idea when this was posted but I think I have your answer...
The moon wheel must be set. Check your calendar or almanac to find out on what date the moon will be in it's next "FULL MOON" phase. On that date set the moon wheel in the following manner. 1).place your fingertips on the moon wheel (the part of the dial near the top with the face of the moon drawn on it).
2). The wheel clockwise to the full moon position (A moon should be centered below the number 15 on the calendar arch at the top of the dial.) You will hear a clicking sound as you move the moon wheel. 3) The moon is now set and will continue to indicate the moon phases accurately as long as the clock is kept running.
If you would like a copy sent to you let me know.
