Daneker grandmother clock chime behind

I have just acquired a Daneker grandmother clock with a Mauthe movement marked W 500 95053 75.


I was so excited to set it up and get it running.

I got the correct hour chiming yesterday, and when I got up this morning it was chiming at approximately the right minute (lost two minutes overnight - I think I can fix that) but the hour chime is 6 hrs. behind!

Can anybody help a newbie with a seemingly strange problem?

I just acquired a danker floor clock Style h66. I was told it is a grandmother clock. It is not chiming the hour. The quarter hour is working fine, but how do I get the hour chime going?
