Henschel clock kit assembly instructions missing

by Ron Chitwood
(Benton City, WA)

We have a family member who bought a Henschel clock kit in 1979.

It was a Model 220 Oak Case and the movement was Model 1000T Triple Chime.

The kit has a Lyre Pendulum, all the glass and a finishing kit.

It was never started and the purchaser passed away about five years ago.

In order to put this beauty together, I need the assembly instructions, they are missing.

Does anyone know I can obtain them?

Hope you made it home safe, here is the reminder you ask for about sending the instructions for putting together the clock. If you also have the parts list that would be good also, to see if I actually have all the parts. Thanks for your help mikeLwright@hotmail.com

new clock movement
by: Charles

I purchased the movement in 2005 for $350 from Clockworks (http://www.clockworks.com/clock-movement/kieninger-clock-movement.html). The model number was Kienenger RU10 or RU13, I do not remember which one, and I do not want to take the case apart to find out (sorry). You have to measure the handshaft on your existing movement, RU10 is 36mm and RU13 is 48mm. The dimension is from the face of the movement (not the faceplate) to the tip of the handshaft. The movement currently lists for $549 according to their website. The one I got was a perfect drop-in replacement, although they first sent me a Hermle movement by error. They were very good at correcting the error. The original movement was actually Kienenger 79R. If you don't want the triple chime (Westminster only) there is probably an equivalent model (possibly RK23 or RK32) that is cheaper by $90.

I made this kit in 1980 and still have the instructions. The clock is still running, although I had to replace the movement.

I can't tell when this question was posted. Do you still need instructions? I have them.
