Grandmother clock

Grandmother clock

I was given this clock by my Grandmother.

I don't know how to get it started.

Any ideas?

Oil
by: Joe Abbott

Question for Kathleen - what type of oil did you use? I recently had to re-assemble my Senator and it only runs for about 20 minutes. Also, do you recall how the pendulum hooks are oriented? On mine the hooks at the top of the pendulum, where it attaches to the little arm, are curved from back to front.

How did you receive this clock? in pieces or together and you just want instructions on how to get it running?

Old Clock
by: Munir

I don't have much ideas about antique clock , but your blog tittle just remind me the an old watch of my grandfather , still in my cupboard.

Its an old more then 50 years , its numbers and pins are all made of radium , and in dark its glow just like a light and give a fantastic look. Although its looses time but any way a very handsome watch to put on hand and amazingly i did not find such a great clocks on market now a days.
